This Saturday, 1st September, Durham Christian Partnership members, Tracey Cooke and Alison Bray will be cycling approximately 85 miles from St Cuthbert’s place of ordination in York to his final resting place at Durham. This ride is to help highlight fuel poverty issues in our region and as a prelude to an exciting new project between County Durham Food and Fuel Bank and Green Energy provider Our Power. Tracey and Alison continually support the work of our food and fuel banks and said ‘It is great to have this opportunity to highlight food and fuel poverty challenges using this historical link between York and Durham through St Cuthbert’. They will be accompanied on the ride by our Chairman and supported by our staff and volunteers. A sponsorship page is attached for any donations with all contributions going to the County Durham Food and Fuel Bank.
